Privacy at Emerald Canopy Club: Your Data Under UK GDPR

The data controller for the canopy

The controller for personal data processed through emeraldcanopyclub.com is the operator of emeraldcanopyclub.com. Contact: [email protected].

The account record, line by line

What the canopy stores	Reason we hold it	Length of time kept
Nickname	Naming you in the game	Until you delete the account
Email address	Knowing it is your account when you log in again	Until you delete the account
Password hash	Signing you in while we never hold the password itself	Until you delete the account
Sign-up date	Support and abuse handling	Until you delete the account

Nothing else is collected. We never ask for your real name, address, date of birth, phone number or any payment detail, since nothing on this site is for sale. Your password is only ever stored as a one-way hash. Lawful basis: performance of a contract (providing the account you requested). Deleting your account erases all of this at once, using the button on your account page.

Kept in your own browser

What the canopy stores	Stored to	Length of time kept
Balance, level, missions and each game’s settings	Continuing your game	Until you clear browser data
Age confirmation	Saving you from being asked on each page	Until you clear browser data
Cookie choice	Remembering your consent	Until you clear browser data

All of this stays on your own device; none of it is sent to us.

Google tags, and only if you agree

Choosing “Accept all” lets us use Google Analytics and Google Ads tags to measure visits and whether our adverts lead to play, such as a first spin taking place. Google then receives your IP address, device information and those events. Choosing “Essential only” keeps these tags in consent mode, with no cookies and no advertising identifiers. Lawful basis: consent.

Our host’s server logs

Our host keeps routine request logs, briefly, to keep the treetops secure. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

Things Mossby will never do with your data

No payment data at any time, as there is nothing to buy.
No marketing emails unless you request them.
Nobody can buy or rent your data from us, ever.
We pass nothing to gambling operators, and the canopy carries no gambling affiliate links.

What you may ask of the canopy

At any time you may access, correct, erase or restrict your data, object to its processing, and withdraw consent. Deleting your account on the account page wipes the account data at once; clearing this site’s data in your browser removes whatever is left. Complaints can go to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
